Foam Roller Workshop

  • Rolling, Rebounding & Detoxing

Treat yourself to 90 minute recovery class! It will include rolling on both a ball & foam roller to hydrate and mobilize fascia, which can increase range of motion.

This class is the answer to releasing muscle tension. In this unique class we will mobilize and massage muscles and fascia. The sensation of rolling is unlike any other. You will feel a massage as you release, nothing will feel sharp.

Our daily routines are hard on the body and positive stimulus such as this class is a great tool for massage, mobility, stretching and overall wellness.

Meditation & Movement Workshop:

  • 6 Week Meditation & Bodywork Class

    Welcome to Alwynn's series titled BODY AWARE. Each class will explore a different theme of Meditation paired with bodywork & breath.

    The movement portion of class is designed to be compassionate and mindful. Disclaimer - this does NOT mean boring. Each class will ebb and flow between movement and stillness.

    BODY AWARE class theme’s:

    • Meditation on positive thinking
    • Meditation on quieting the inner critic
    • Meditation for loving kindness & seeing the good within

Reformer Class

Postnatal Reformer Pilates Miniseries

  • Throughout this 6 week series our goal is to have you reconnect to your abdominal muscles and restore core functionality and balance.

    Your body made room to grow and carry a human for nine months; these six, one hour sessions will be about you, re-establishing your body as an independent entity, and addressing some of the muscular imbalances that can be present after pregnancy such as diastasis.

    Some of the strategies we will use in classes together will be:

  • Breathing techniques and postural awareness
  • Restore thoracic curve
  • Release tension – which is so important to restore Diastesis Recti and also to find peace of mind for 1 hour ☺ by doing exercises
  • Strengthening abdominal wall, lower extremities and shoulder girdle
  • Standing exercises to restore pelvic floor function
  • Explore ways of carrying your baby and other daily routine activities with proper alignment, muscle engagement, and body awareness to keep your body injury free.

Mindset & Goal Setting for a Successful Challenge

  • Inquiring on goals and expectations:

    • Asking you why you are participating and what you want to achieve. Check for mental barriers and/or scheduling challenges. Create a strategy to overcome both.
    • Tips for a successful challenge:

      Roselby will provide you with tips on how to achieve a positive mindset for before and during the challenge. Our goal is to eliminate negative narratives throughout the challenge and experiment with self discovery, healthy body image, and self love.

    Examples will be:

    • Gratitude for being able to participate
    • Sleep patterns
    • Foods to eat before coming to class and after
    • Setting the mindset
    • Reward yourself

    Recipe for detox tea and food ideas.

  • Do you need to eat breakfast? Is the keto diet actually healthy? Should you be detoxing regularly? Nutrition is a complicated topic and there’s certainly no shortage of information available out there! Join Holistic Nutritionist Heather Lillico as she uses research evidence to break down common nutrition myths and misconceptions. She’ll provide practical advice on how to maximize your nutrition and fuel yourself for a busy life. At the end of the talk there will be a Q&A session and Heather will provide a few take-home recipes of her favourite dishes!
