Jungle HIIT + Relaxation

Has the snow got you craving a tropical escape - even for a couple of hours? Get sweaty with us in our studio-turned-jungle in collaboration with the All-Babe Adventure brand, Origin Travels. This special edition workshop will focus on natural body movement in nature - like getting up on a surf board, or kayaking a wild river - and will finish with a full body melt (and tropical treats). This is the mini-retreat your body needs to face our last month of winter.

Roll It Out with Alwynn

  • Rolling, Rebounding & Detoxing

Treat yourself to 90 minute recovery class! It will include rolling on both a ball & foam roller to hydrate and mobilize fascia, which can increase range of motion.

This class is the answer to releasing muscle tension. In this unique class we will mobilize and massage muscles and fascia. The sensation of rolling is unlike any other. You will feel a massage as you release, nothing will feel sharp.

Our daily routines are hard on the body and positive stimulus such as this class is a great tool for massage, mobility, stretching and overall wellness.

Reformer Class

Postnatal Reformer Pilates Miniseries

  • Throughout this 6 week series our goal is to have you reconnect to your abdominal muscles and restore core functionality and balance.

    Your body made room to grow and carry a human for nine months; these six, one hour sessions will be about you, re-establishing your body as an independent entity, and addressing some of the muscular imbalances that can be present after pregnancy such as diastasis.

    Some of the strategies we will use in classes together will be:

  • Breathing techniques and postural awareness
  • Restore thoracic curve
  • Release tension – which is so important to restore Diastesis Recti and also to find peace of mind for 1 hour ☺ by doing exercises
  • Strengthening abdominal wall, lower extremities and shoulder girdle
  • Standing exercises to restore pelvic floor function
  • Explore ways of carrying your baby and other daily routine activities with proper alignment, muscle engagement, and body awareness to keep your body injury free.

Prenatal Yoga Weekend

  • Welcome to our Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training & Learning Immersion.

    This learning weekend is open to anyone who wants to learn more about pregnancy and movement during pregnancy.

    Throughout our one weekend together we will explore:

    • Yoga Philosophy & Lifestyle - how to welcome a pregnant woman into class as well as get into the discuss what life may be like for a pregnant woman in our society
    • Yoga techniques specialized to the needs of the pregnant woman, including practice and teaching skills for each trimester
    • Alignment for the expectant mother
    • How to modify yoga poses safely
    • How to practice relaxation and stress management techniques
    • Overview of anatomical, physiological, hormonal, and emotional changes during pregnancy

    Investment: $420

    • There is a $25 non refundable application fee
    • $420+hst for the full weekend or $345+hst if you participate in both 20 hour top-up trainings. Restorative and Prenatal.

Restorative Yoga Weekend

Welcome to our Restorative Yoga Teacher Training & Learning Immersion.

Throughout our one weekend together we will:

  • Explore the history, philosophy, and intentions of Restorative Yoga
  • Learn to slow down, rest, create space, restore balance, access inner alignment, and harmony
  • Investigate the nervous system function, regulation, and balance
  • Increase your awareness of the physiological effects of Restorative Yoga – measurable and immeasurable benefits
  • Build an understadning of the Autonomic Nervous System and the Relaxation Response
  • Build an understanding of the effects of stress on the body, and use the restorative practice as an antidote to stress
  • Meditation and breathwork, will be explored
  • Learn how to skillfully use props to support the body and invite a deep release
  • Create an individualized practice with specific therapeutic intentions, for yourself or others
  • Restorative Yoga Asana
  • Restorative Yoga Sequencing
  • How to integrate restorative practices into your personal practice or your teaching
